Quartermaster's StoresHere you will find information on the uniforms and equipment of the Arcane Tempest. UniformThe Millitant Order of the Arcane Tempest is a state sponsored millitary unit as such all members are required to wear the Queen's uniform while on-duty. Off-duty there are no official restrictions or dress code enforced, but the wearing of the colour peach is frowned on. The Queens Uniform consists of a black long coat with storm cape and black Tri-corner hat.
The coat is cut in the style made famous by the 'Santia Brigands', some 20 years ago, The brigands were notrious for maurauding shipping off the southern coast of Albion between 1079 and 1086. They were eventually quelled when their flag ship 'The Apsotle' was trapped and sank by the Albion battleship 'Tempest' in one of the many small river inlets that pepper the south coast. The Long coat's buttons are cast with the crest of Santia emblazened on them. The Tri-corn hat is made out of reinforced leather and designed to provide light protection to the head, without interfering with the wearers ability to cast spells.

The magical rank insignia carry a star with a varying number of pips to either side denoting the level of magic reached with coloured ribbons beneath to show which discipline has been mastered - blue for Shaman, green for Corporeal and red for Mage. Ritualists (Mage Prelate) are designated by a modification to the star design. Examples of magical rank patches currently in use in the unit - from top left anticlockwise:
